Donor Bill of Rights
We believe that PHILANTHROPY is based on voluntary action for the common good. It is a tradition of giving and sharing that is primary to the quality of life. To assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the not-for-profit organizations and causes they are asked to support, we declare that all donors have these rights:
The Senior Assistance Center is always in need of items for their senior clients. What a great way to help the Senior Assistance Center without actually using your own funds.
Do you have an old car, truck, or motorcycle that you’re not using any more? By donating your unwanted vehicle to the Senior Assistance Center you will receive a great tax deduction while providing a significant donation in support of our programs.
The Senior Assistance Center is partnering with Driven to Donate, operated by Step 13, a nationally-recognized recovery program in downtown Denver that offers men the opportunity to overcome drug and/or alcohol addiction through a program that requires sobriety, work, and accountability. The men at Step 13 help process donated vehicles, providing them with the dignity of work, while they work hard to maximize the value of each donated vehicle.
Donating our vehicle could not be easier. The program includes free towing, and any vehicles, whether they are running or not, are gratefully accepted. You will receive all required forms to claim the tax deduction for the sale price of your vehicle.
You can donate your vehicle online by visiting DriventoDonate.org or by calling 303-296-9020.
Thank you for your support of the Senior Assistance Center.
