Assistance completing and submitting CARE applications for Denver & part of JeffCo (80033, 80212, 80214, 80215) residents 55 or older available now by appointment!


What accepted program participants can expect

There is no cost to participants. An authorized and experienced CARE energy adviser will visit the home to install free energy efficient products, assess the property for major efficiency opportunities, and educate the client on their energy usage. Once the adviser has completed their assessment, they will coordinate with local contractors to install the most cost-effective efficiency measures in the home. After installation, participants may be contacted by an EOC or CARE inspector to ensure all improvements were installed correctly.

LEAP Application Assistance

LEAP Season is November through April

To receive help from this program, you must meet all the following criteria:

  • You are a US citizen or legal resident, or in a household with a legal resident
  • You pay heating costs to an energy company or as part of rent; and
  • You meet the income guidelines for the season
